The last sale fell through, which was no bad thing to be honest, as the new car was delayed! However, it has now arrived (this morning), and I have to sell this.
I owe £8300, and I would like to get as close to that as possible. But in reality, make me an offer and I will consider it. I am happy for a buyer to pay for it and take it away and I will immediately clear the finance, or you can leave a deposit, I will pay the finance and you can collect a few days later once cleared.
Yes its cheap, no there isn't anything wrong with it, I just cannot afford to keep it insured/taxed and finance payments.
Listed below is the original advert, mileage is now just under 108k.
Had it MOTd on the 18th Feb, so its good until 18th Feb 2021. Only advisories were a number plate bulb and unsecure battery.
It had a new engine fitted by Tim Fry Land Rover Specialists in Cheltenham in November. The new engine still has 8 months warranty on it.
Lets be clear, this car has been loved by me. Everything it has need it has had, and it has also had stuff it didn't need
Since the new engine was fitted, I have been to the French Alps and back twice, and it was perfect. No issues whatsoever, new engine is lovely and smooth. I drove home from the Alps one day, picked the wife and dogs up, and drove back again the next day-the car lapped it up!
When it had the engine done, Tim Fry checked both turbos for play etc and both EGRs were cleaned and checked, so there are no problems in that department either. It also had all new front to rear brake pipes replaced, as well as the notoriously difficult upper rear wishbones replaced.
There are NO suspension knocks or rattles, no warning lights, the suspension lifts as requested rapidly.
Zanbezi silver with privacy glass
108,000 miles
New engine fitted in Nov 19, still has 10 months warranty from Tim Fry, Landrover specialists in Cheltenham.
2 previous owners
6 speed auto
Full service history-some Landrover and some well recognised specialists
Cambelts and tensioners replaced in 2018 (and again now with the new engine)
LOADS of upgrades, almost an HSE
Full leather HSE interior, electric heated seats.
Heated front and rear screen
Piano black trim and mood lighting
2016 Valeo (OEM) xenon headlights, so the nice DRLs and Xenons
2016 Rear lights
2016 front grille
Since I have owned it, it has had:
New engine
New front to rear brake pipes
New upper rear wishbones
All new discs and pads (Middle of 2019)
New lower arms
New drop links
New cross over pipe (2019)
New calipers all round (2019)
New front wheel bearings
Intermediate oil changes
Gearbox mega flush by Bodsy
Front and rear diff oil changed
Transfer box oil changed
Detachable towbar in excellent condition, stored in the car with key
Currently has a Lenovo Tab3 fitted in the dash (looks OEM) but can return to the “normal” GS radio if required
4 USB charging outlets in the front, which replaced the usual cigarette lighter
Brand new 20” wheels with winter tyres.
Its not perfect, of course it isnt! There is of course marks in line with its age and there was a snorkel fitted so there are some marks on the front wing where it was. Stone chips and chips on the front bumper and bonnet, but nothing too serious.
This is one of those cars that you shouldnt have to spend any money on for a while-if you are anything like me, after I buy a car it always seems to end up costing a grand to get it right. But not this one.
FWIW ... too cheap. People will be put off by that.
PM on it's way.

It is cheap yes, but the car is good!
It has to go sooner rather than later (or my balls are getting ripped off).

Now sold and collected
Interestingly it sold off a classified add on the e bay. Just for once, it was an easy deal, the guy said he would buy it, would collect today and he did
