In part 2 of "Being grown up and sensible", next car up for sale is my Jag XF-R. Originally purchased as I wanted an E46 M3, but prices of those went a bit silly. This was going to be my investment, keep the miles down while enjoying it, as prices increase, but thats not quite how it worked out
5.0 Supercharged V8
500bhp
0-60 in 4.7 secs
Only 62k miles, and in immaculate condition.
Top of the range R variant of the XF range, massive spec including:
Keyless entry and start, with 2 working keys
20" Supercharged alloys
Bowers + Wilkins sound system with 6 disc CD changer
Sat Nav
Black Heated leather seats and Heated steering wheel
Front + rear parking sensors with reverse camera
Bluetooth Connectvity, Aux input + DAB radio
Cruise Control
Xenon headlights
Previous owner had a set of Eibach -15mm coil springs fitted, full 4 wheel alignment done
Also has a stainless steel cat back exhaust system (done by Pipe Dynamics in Leven)
In my ownership, the car has had a full service carried out, along with a gearbox oil flush.
Also had PCM + TCM software updated, due to an intermittent harsh shift from Park (known issue, rectified with firmware update)
Front brake discs and pads replaced less than 1k miles ago, with uprated EBC Ceramic pads. 2x new rear Continetal tyres just a few weeks ago.
Will also come with replacement rear brake discs and pads to match the front setup. They are low, but not needing replaced just yet (unless the new owner wants them done for collection)
Only downside to this car is a small bit of paint flaking on the OSR quarter panel, which will be rectified before sale (or proce is negotiable if you'd rather have it done yourself)
This is a brutal car when you want it to be and not for the faint hearted! Conversely, it will.sit quite happily at 65/70mph on the motorway all day and return 30mpg.
Private plate has been removed, and is back to its original VRM of OE10 BYH
MOT was done on 26th April, and passed with no advisories
Priced at £14,500 with paintwork defect rectified, or sensible offers "as is"
