Now decided to Part Ex the Disco for ease after a few tyre kickers.
Garage offered me between £7000-8000 depending on it's condition, it's all good - so thought I would offer up on here for the lower price of £7250 just so it can go somewhere to be cherished!

You must be willing to travel to find the right vehicle, you will be missing out if you restrict your viewing to near you.
I travelled all over the country to find mine and was ready to book a cheap flight South to check out 3 but mine came up first.
Its also brill to get a good run home to find your feet, I had a 3 and a half hour test drive.

I have family down in the South West, so could plan a trip in. Alternatively, it will be getting serviced in November sometime at Newcastle, which may have better transport & train links for you.
Getting to this point and with the reality of it going, really does make me question selling it..

Argh yes fond memories of trekking around the land in search of just the right car. Remember when i was looking for XK there were only seven in the country the colour I wanted. The one I got was just 12 miles down the road
Picked up my first D3 from Bristol!
People can always try the forum network and ask if someone either knows the vehicle or will take a "quick look" for them. I would if someone asked me! D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven
Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..

Now a proud owner of this Discovery 3!

Great outcome. That's how sales between sensible people should happen! Richard
