Hi ALL
I am selling a 2005 Land Rover Discovery 3 in GREEN on behalf of my wife's auntie.
It has done 156k miles
It has a Full Service History
The MOT is due at the end of April and the service due in May
It is a 5 seater with cloth interior.
The vehicle is generally in good condition but there is a scratch on the passenger door and a patch of raised paint on the boot which has been there since it was purchased by my auntie-in-law 9 years ago.
Tow bar included
It has had 3 owners from new
I believe it is a fairly basic spec but has electric windows, cruise control, air con, hands free, 2 keys and factory fitted under bonnet diesel powered cabin heater (although she professes to not have a clue what that last one is) etc.
The asking price is £4,895 but she is open to genuine offers from anyone who has been to view the vehicle.
Recent work includes a wheel bearing replacement and new tyre. Tyres all in good condition.
The vehicle starts and runs well but has been a little slow to start on colder mornings this winter.
They have decided to buy a newer Discovery so have made this available for sale.
The vehicle is located in Leicestershire, close to the M1.
I do not profess to be an expert on this particular type of vehicle ( I hope this doesn't land me with a torrent of abuse on a specialist forum) but will endeavour to answer any questions or queries and hopefully be of assistance in its sale.
On my advice, we decided to try and sell this vehicle on here before exploring other avenues for advertisement as the price and condition may appeal to enthusiasts looking for an addition to their collection.
I will try and get some interior and under the bonnet photos when the snow thaws.
