[For Sale] 2005 disco 3 tdv6s £6995
THE CAR IS GOING FOR AN MOT THIS WEEK SO WILL HAVE A FULL 12 MONTHS AND THE PRIVATE PLATE HAS BEEN RENOVED
PREVIOUS TO NOW IT WAS A HALF HEARTED SALE AS I HAVNT REALLY WANTED TO SELL IT. I NOW HAVE A NEW VEHICLE LINED UP SO IT WILL BE GOING ON AUTOTRADER/EBAY ONCE THE MOT IS DONE IF NOT ALREADY SOLD THROUGH HERE
CAR HAS FULL 12 MONTH MOT NOW
The time has come to sell my discovery I don't want to but have my new van and business before pleasure at the moment,
The car won't be available till the back end of next week
2005 55 plate (lower tax)
115,000 miles
Loads of history (service every year, suspension arms, compressor, all regular bits )
Front diff re built
front drive shafts
New front wheel bearings
New front discs and pads in last couple of thousand miles
New brake calliper
New centre prop bearing
All oils and fluids replaced couple of months back
Disco 4 rear light
20 inch stormer alloys with general grabber at
Colour coded arches
Full heated black leather
Tinted windows
It has a small scratch on passenger door and wing which was there when I got it 7 years ago
Scuff mark on rear arch
General age marks stone chips etc
Small amount of wear on bolster of drivers seat but had a quote to repair
This had been a great car over the last 7 years but needed a new van and bought new so this is just going to sit and not get used now unfortunately and the other half has a commute that means she needs something a little more economical.
Although it's needed bits doing it has never let me down in 7 years from stag do transport to Newquay with 7 grown men to family holidays in the Scottish highlands with 2 kids and 3 dogs will be very sad to see it go, the best car I have ever owned and I've had a lot!!
Private plate not included
As you can see it cleans up really well it was washed and clay bar cleaned followed by polish then wax a couple of months back
I will of missed things so please feel free to ask
I'm thinking £7495ono
maybe too much I just don't know but got to start somewhere.

Over 200 views not one bit of interest?
Too expensive? Way over priced? Or are these just not selling at the moment?

Plenty may be cheaper but one which has been fully sorted and over maintained should command a premium
How many times do we see new buyers state theyve got a D3 and a few posts later need advice on smoke, noises, dash lights!!!!
Around £6000 -£6750 is a fair price i would say👍

It's a fair price for a good straight car, you see ones for 5k but they're low spec high mile and normally well used. Seems to be loads of early cars for sale at the moment which won't help.

Having some photos of the interior may help.
From the exterior pictures it looks quite tidy but would be good to have some photos inside so folks can see what the wear to the seats is like.

I will get the seat sorted it's only a very small big of damage.
If the car did another 10 mpg it wouldn't be going anywhere but the Mrs need something with a bit better economy like a freelander

Hi I'm looking for my first D3
( ideally V8 due to lots of bad reports on TDv6 but after reading posts on here they don't seem that bad )
When we're the belts replaced ?

The belts were done at about 90,000 miles around 3-4 years ago with a genuine landrover kit
