Wife had one, she never got out of second gear to fast for her, sold it to a site sponser, big mistake I really loved it. Bought a Mini diesel to keep running costs and VED down and it costs 3 times as much to insure as the 'S' did
In fact if it wasn't blue I would be interested, what is it about women and colours? It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Evening,
Looks good. When you say it's not a pristine example, what are the bad bits? How long have you had it, and what would you expect needs done in the next 12 months to keep it running well?
Cheers,

Small dent on passenger door, front bumper needs a couple of new clips, flywheel bit noisy until you pump clutch but it’s a known issue with these and you just change it at same time as clutch. Only reason I haven’t is that I was considering updating clutch as part of a tune up. Wheels need a refurb.
Front brake lines, rear brake lines and bypass valve have been replaced which are all known weak points. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Has it had a new chain tensioner? Does it make any rattle at all?

No rattle aside from the slight one from flywheel which a quick dab on the clutch makes go away.
Flywheel needs replacing at same time as clutch.
Brake lines which are common and expensive fix have been done front and back
New bypass valve also common
Had a compression test by 1340 a while back which came back healthy - you do this prior to tuning although I’ve not ended up doing the pulley/intercooler/remap I was going to do. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
