I’m moving on my Disco, because I have neither the time or the facilities to address the issues as I’ve no garage/drive.
I’ve had a bit of interest from someone else looking for an overland project, but I’m going to give this forum the offer too.
Overall it’s just tired after 215,000 miles
Good bits-
SE spec with additional options such as 4x4 info screen, full leather electric heated seats F/R HSE wheels with Duratrac tyres (nearly new).
New cambelts done and all new injectors just before Lockdown for MOT. Air Suspension works.
Bad bits-
Lockdown and shielding was not kind to it. It’s showing an ‘ Engine fault ‘ which was diagnosed as the turbo actuator seized, but I can’t get to it to free it up. The new tyres show up a lot of wear in suspension bushes so it judders on full lock. Fuel tank cradle needs replacing. Clutch release bearing is noisy ( still functional). Showing ‘service’ due though oil changed around same time (Feb 2020).
Luckily my commute is through 20 miles of M/Way roadworks at 50mph so it’s still in use.
I’m looking for £1500
and if I don’t get a Disco 4 I have a steering guard, genuine LR load/dog cage ( with separate door) roof bars and a rear ladder available by negotiation.

Detachable one is all present, I have only used it for a bike rack and one journey to Wales to pick up a car on a twin axle trailer
