saggy seat covers
booked in 06/11. rang dealer at 0800 on 6/11 to make sure all parts in stock so as not to have wasted journey 'everything is fine' i am told. drpped car off and spent the day with a freelander (DO NOT BUY A FREELANDER!!!!!!!!). phone call stating that the cd player has been ok for the mechanic so has not been changed and the seat covers were not in stock after much complaining i was finally told that they would replace the head unit (as they said last time) as a good will gesture!!!!. was then told that the head unit would need to be ordered and that they would ring me when it was in stock. result - 1 full day wasted, 60 mile round trip. biggest pi55er is the fact that they blatently lied by stating that the parts were actually in stock. i get lied to on a daily basis at work so i dont expect to get it from what i thought was a reputable dealer Gone.......but not forgotten

Mine also gone the same way, ebony cloth 6 months old and lumpy creases , Now I know its not just me, I will get it fixed!
Will phone the dealer tomorrow as the car is booked in again on the 14th for the tracking (attempt 3) and heated screen problem. Will quote them the tsb and try and get them to do it at the same time..

booked my car in for this to be done along with some other work and asked if they had the parts necessary to do the job, no problem sir. When I went back to get the car it turns out they had "fixed" it by getting a local upholsterer to bodge the seat base. It now certainley is not creased in the middle, but everywhere else, what a mess. When I asked them why they had not repaired it according to the TSB I was told "never heard of it sir".

Well B16KJR, I do hope you are taking them to task over it, and it wouldn't hurt to name and shame the tw*ts either.
