Safest disco 4 year to buy

hi all, I know it’s a hard question. But.....
looking to spend 20k and replace my wife’s xc60. So looking for a 2012 ish disco 4 HSE with as low miles as poss. I have heard worries over engines and seen first hand the bills. Is there a better year to be safe?

Thank you, what is the reason? Did they change the engine spec?

new as you can and a warranty direct warranty at least for the engine (core package). Excessively low miles can be as bad as overly high

All engines are the same, and nearly everything else, so I would say as lower mileage EU6 as possible.

That will mean you can drive it where you like for as long as possible

I would go with Robbie, 2013 seems good. No adblue so probably a bit more expensive to tax, but no issues either. No heating issues, no silly DRL’s which I personally hate, no stop start to annoy you,

I have one!

The MY13 was a slight improvement over the MY12 and the MY12 was quite a change from the previous years. The goodness of MY13 was lost in the pursuit of lower emissions from MY14 onwards.

That’s a really beautiful blue color Thumbs Up seems slightly darker than cairns on D3 but if I was in the market for a nice D4 V8SC V6 this lovely shade of blue would be at the very top of the list along with Bali on a V8. Whistle

I wouldn’t spend very much money on a diesel vehicle that wasn’t EU6. For resale reasons, even if it didn’t directly impact on your use.
