OK, got some news for you.
Firstly I decided to get one myself for use with my Honda Eu20i generator, I have a connector on the generator gas conversion hose that clips into the BBQ point on the outside of the motorhome and makes use of the fixed Gaslow system, but for occasional use elsewhere (don't know where but what the hell its a cool thing to have) I thought it would be useful to have another gas source. My generator gas conversion came with a regulator that I cut off to put on the BBQ point snap connector, the regulator was not required as the gas was already regulated from the internal Gaslow system, so I am now fitting a snap connector so I can choose to use the BBQ point fitting on the motorhome or the regulator on a stand alone Safefill bottle, it will also give me the option of having another 20ltrs of Gas in the motorhome
So contacted the Chandlery and they said they would call back but never did so spoke with Safefill, apparently these bottles are going to be obsolete at the end of the month as a new range is coming out that will include a 10ltr, 15ltr, 20ltr and 30ltr, they will be the same diameter of around 304mm but will be different heights, the prices at the moment is the same for the existing 15 and 20ktr due to the manufacturing costs, the new range I am told will not be any dearer but they may try to adjust prices a bit to relate to different sizes. I decided to get one anyway so found a Leisure shop that had 3 left, well 2 now I have just bought one, they can be at the link below if you are quick but once they are gone they are gone, I was told that this new range has been on the cards for a year and that people will believe it when they see it when the new range appears, Safefill.co.uk seem to be kicking themselves as they have run out of stock and could be selling shed loads due to demand but themselves decided to wait for the new batch, so it is up to you if you want to wait or grab one, as it will just be a few cosmetic changes to help with manufacturing costs I grabbed one
Here is the place with 2 left £149.95 plus £10 shipping

Cost analysis for Safefill, prices may have changed slightly but you get the idea
Don't forget the initial costs of the deposit on a refillable bottle!

Well there you go
BUT
I live near Westerham, Kent, check out the LPG garages near me http://www.lpgmap.co.uk , there aren't any (the independent one in Biggin Hill is closed), I seem to be in a huge void. Anyway I travelled 6 miles to one in Addiscombe, BP Shirley, I got caught trying to fill my Safefill and kicked out, I rang BP customer services to complain and they had never hear of Safefill but took my details and opened a query promising to get back to me.
From speaking to the forecourt manager it is clear that most places have never heard of Safefill and if BP are now excluding people this is really going to me off. It seems that it is pot luck whether you can or are or are not allowed to fill them, no law against it but it is easily confused with the illegal refills of rented ones.
Safefill have a list of places that WILL fill it but none are near me, anyway I went to another garage a lot further away and sneakily filled it, but I don't like the idea of having to sneak around and take pot luck, it doesn't feel nice being thrown out of a garage
