Peter,

It is an EAS vehicle. I want to avoid the kind of water and mud ingestion the Disco II experienced before we put the snorkel on it. I don't have any intention of fording more than 27.5 inches (700mm) plus the .75 inches (19 mm) gained with the larger tires. This depth would be nearly at the top of the tires, a good measuring point.

Thanks for the reminder on the depths. It is lower for the Coil than the Air Suspension.

As long as you don't get stuck in the water the RAI would probably be ok but at that depth a snorkel would be better.
Water ingress is not quite as damaging wit a petrol donk as with a diesel too.

The G4 will be OK for your requirements. These vehicles have G4 RAI fitted. And I am sure you will find loads more pictures of vehicles doing the same with the G4 RAI fitted.
