S*****d by warranty direct!!
Hi guys has anyone here managed to get warranty direct to reverse their stupid EGR valve decision??? I have been given the old 'we don't cover egrs I'd they are found to have carbon damage' line even though I have emissions cover!! I really need to know if anyone has managed to reverse this decision and how!!! I feel like accusing them of discriminating against me since I know they have done other peoples EGRs!!! [/b]

No my EGR valves were claimed under LR select warranty.
I have the WD warranty and every claim I put in is rejected so I know the process. Just quote the contract and stand your ground. Email the address I gave you I have found they can 'override' the claims technicians. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

That's great! Did you get the work done and then complain?? Just wondering the best way about it? I also need some bushes and a tie rod? And the guy at the garage says that WD like to either allow or deny all items to 'keep their paperwork nice and neat'

No you must get pre-authorisation.
Currently discussing £600 of work that they have turned down and I think should be included. So I can't get the work done until resolved. The moment you get the work done they will quote the contract at you and you have lost.
Think I got Anti roll bar bushes and track rod ends done OK on securecare warranty.
Let us know how you get on with them SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

I'll tell u what !
I'm bloody glad I don't have a warranty ! By my reckoning and in another few months I'll be two grand up !
That said it's 4 year old this month and it's going to be requiring some preventative maintenance before the winter sets in.Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Just thought I would do a quick update on egr situation. It turned out that warranty direct caved ( much to dealers and my surprise) and allowed both egr valves to be replaced!! Also had some new brake pads etc done at same time ( obviously not under warranty) then during that the garage noticed rear dif playing up and got that done on warranty direct too!! Well done Gordon lamb chesterfield ESP claim lady who got a bottle of wine

Then they will deduct £50 rxcess for EGR and another £50 excess for Rear Diff.
I had 1, NSF wheel bearing, 2 Lower Ball Joints and 2 Rear Suspension Arm thingamyjigs and guess what each on a separate claim despite all work done at the same garage, time and invoice £250.00 excess to the RTB!
Then they got the amount wrong and only paid me VAT on the wheel bearing still waiting VAT on the other 4 items (notice I said items not claims). Work done 19th Aug and still not sorted. ing ards.
I to have the complaints departments details ... ...
And still awaiting an Alternator claim ... so much for receiving a cheque within 10 working days WD wats!
Rant Over With ... Honest ... but I still think they are Club N.E.R.D.s
