Running winter Pirelli Scorpions M+S all year

Gents I have just purchased a new to me D4 just checking the tyres and see a pair new of rears if on the horizon
The size of the tyre currently fitted is 255/65/19 Pirelli Scorpion M+S and carry the MO stamping
My questions are these a full on winters or are they suitable for winter and summer use
many thanks

Do you mean these:

Are they really 65 profile or 55 profile? The MO means they're a Mercedes specified tyre.

The Scorpion above no longer shows on Pirelli's UK website. I'm guessing this is the new replacement for it:

Hi,
what are the markings on the sidewall Question
should give a good indication if Full on Winters (doubt it) with big 3 peak symbols or All season (our pirellis are this type) with multi symbols on them

you can run winters all year and "in theory" they will wear out quicker as higher silica compound and may not be as good in hot weather, but on our last two holidays in Croatia we saw loads of cars that run them all year round, they have a lot hotter weather than us Whistle depends what you want from the tyre and mileage you do.
Everything is a compromise Confused

Side Issue# how does it drive on the 65 profile as that is about 25mm radius increase Shocked "blunts" performance and speedo reading ?

Hi River thanks for the info
it drivers fine TBH miles better than my old D3
The car came fitted with 265s so I can say if its detrimental to the drive or not
Woody32 has driven the car and not picked up on any issues re the tyre sizes Thumbs Up
