Hi guys,
I've just received my running boards for my D4. It does come with the instructions, and it all seems pretty straightforward, although a bit of faffing. But to make it easier, has anyone put step by step photos up on the forum, or even better video! I have read some of the posts regarding fitment of the boards, and will endeavour to do this at the weekend as it'll probably take a good few hours.
Oh by the way, Dan Roberts (Duckworths) isn't answering my emails, does anyone know if he's away?
Cheers.

I did mine yesterday and thought it wasn't worth while documenting it because I thought mine was odd not having steps.
My advice is if you don't have a screwdriver socket to get the back two screws out you will need to take the wheel off. I couldn't get my cross head screwdriver socket to turn the screws and had to Dremel slot in them.
Overall the instructions are easy to follow and it is a bit of jiggling to get them on. I Dremeled the cut outs and that sped up the process of cutting the side covers.

I fitted sidesteps to my 12MY D4 a few weeks ago. Fiddly at times, especially refitting of cills once brackets had been fitted.
There is a video on YouTube that is worth watching - is for RRS but pretty much same as D4.
The cills are marked on rear with areas to be cut out to fit over brackets and I used a multitool - the vibrating saw/sander type - using a semi circular blade. Made this part quite easy.
To get screws out of rear wheel arch you can use a cross head bit in a small spanner or adjustable and avoid having to take the wheel off.
Once fitted they make a brilliant car look even better!!

DID IT!
I thought this morning that I would take off the sills cut the holes, put back on the car, and return to it tomorrow to finish the job.
Found it all very easy, and completed BOTH sides, with boards fitted in 2.75 hrs. Job done!
Now waiting for the resprayed spoiler from Dan, and that'll be put on next weekend hopefully.
