RRS Sport Thong v D4 511 alloys
Hi
Switched my stock 511 alloys for a set of Winters I made up with some new Pirelli Scorpion Winters and RRS Thong alloys. (Who names these wheels!!).
511’s being kept as summer only, or maybe better said as non-Winter now. They will get a clean before being put away!!! Honest !
Seen some pics on a few D4’s and wasn’t 100% sure but the market is awash with almost new sets of these for good prices as urban RRS owners all seem to immediately want to upgrade to 22 or bigger. In the flesh I am definitely pretty pleased though.
Given the availability of this alloy type, thought I’d stick up a ‘side by side’ pic for anyone thinking of these. As well as to leave an open door for all the ‘Thongs on a D4’ comedians
