Rotary gear knob

Rotary gear knob

Noticed this morning tgst the rotary gear knob has developed a loud cluck that can also be felt vua the knob when in park snd the foot brake us applied. Anyone else expirience this snd if so what was it. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
MY12 D4 HSE Nara Bronze Sold and gone
MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone
D3 S spec Silver Sold and gone
Tow bar, full length roof bars, side steps, tow bar storage unit, surround camers.

I guess it's just the lock that stops you moving out of park without the brake applied. Mine is audible, more of a quiet click than a clunk tho !! Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik

Yes never had this before it is a pronounced clunk. LRA came out following a talk with dealer and they recon the knob assembly needs replacing. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
