Roof trim removal - A-Pillar leak
Hi All..
I'm getting water inside my Disco 3 (2006), as the top of the A-pillar, on passenger side.
i've checked out the sunroof, but the drains seem clear as water comes out by the front wheel as expected.
Having search on here, I've read that it could be the roof rail/seam leak so was going to take off the roof trim, clean it up & check it. My car has the short rails.
But not sure how to get the front trim off? See pic..

Some other video's online seem to show them held on with round clips, but mine does not have any round clips.
Any info on how to remove them would be appreciated!

I have done it many times on non sunroof models where the retaining clip is more obvious. If you remove the end cap from the front end of the rail (torx screw) The fir tree round clip might be under there!
51222B is non sunroof trim and 51222A is with sunroof!
Hs1 is the fir tree you're looking for. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Mine was coming in through the hole at the very top of the a pillar, the locating peg seal had failed so. Also worth checking all water is going through drain at the bottom, mine was letting a small amount through.2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

I had wet floors as well but there are two more drains that come out behind the rear seat nearside drains which you ought to check too.Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6
