You will need to get legs for the bar. RLTP or RLTS.
Rhino are working on a small track for the front, should be out soon. I assume there will be legs to bring it to the same height as the rear bars. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I am about to put on the rhino rails and bars as well as the 1812 tray. My dealer is dubious about the wisdom of riveting the track at the ends as he reckons almost certainly it will leak. Has anyone had problems in this regard or views to offer?
thanks

No leaking problems.
Remember the dealer wants to sell you genuine at @700+ I cannot see how it would leak if securely rivetted. You dont need to rivet it if you keep the load away from the rear. The Rhino has a lower profile than the LR one so is more likely to bend with a legative load at the end.
If you are worried get them to put some silicone in ther hole first. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

On this note: I've got a set of genuine LR ones if anyone's interested. Have a nice day!

It won't leak if you follow the instructions (ie use sealer and blind rivets). You will need to remove some of the LR sealant/caulking so don't forget to paint the holes before you put it all together to ensure no bare metal remains exposed. New to list.
Taking possession of my Java Black fully spec'd '06 TDV6 SE tommorrow. I am confused by prices being quoted i.e. $150 for rails and $4-500 for package. Rhino website hard to follow.
Can anyone tell me where/who to get teh $150 rails from?
Thanks

I got mine from the roof rack place at gordon/pymble (near Mona Vale/ Ryde Road) They are owned by Rhino Rack. The rail on it's own is about $150 the extra in the package is the cross bars (two) They also do a front bar now. so maybe they do a complete three bar package. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

David, ARB Nepean Hwy Brighton, will sell you the rails only for $150. (you may not need these if you got the rails spec'd in your package...see my pic's above). I just picked up the Bar kit from ARB last week for $245 inc delivery. (this includes the bars and feet. This makes it $395 for complete set. Th Bar kit comes complete with the 2 bars cut at the right lengths as the front is slightly shorter than the rears.
Hope this helps... pm me for more information. What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!
