Is it possible to fit roof rails and cross bars to a D3 that has never had them? No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

Absolutely.....fitting rails is fairly foolproof and takes under an hour there is a bit of cutting required to the channel cover but be brave with the hacksaw..
...crossbars can be a little fiddly at first but take minutes to put on \ take off when your used to them. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Rhino rack make replacement rails for disco 3 without factory bars.

Fitting instructions can be found on the LR OWners website.
Obviously the cross bars are easier to fit than the roof tracks - you will have to cut the 'blanking strip' which hides the bolts when you fit the tracks. Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
