Roof Rack T-Track Question |
|
Something that has always bothered me about Disco 3 & 4s
What’s the point of the t-track roof rail system?
I get it lets you add the usual roof rack systems, but all of that could be achieved with normal rails or fixing points. But am I missing something? Feels like there should a huge array of accessories that fit it, simple cheap roof bars or more things that can use t-track. Or more examples of cheap homemade racks.
I guess my own goal is to come up with a cheap way to be able to carry sheets of plywood at times, then the spare wheel and recovery tracks etc the rest of the time. It just feels like it shouldn’t need to cost £1000 to achieve this. Disco 4 2012 HSE, Nara Bronze
