Roof Rack Lights
Seen a few threads about which lights to fit to the expo rack but need more help please. 1st choice would be Lightforce 140's but at £300 for a set of 4 it's far too much.
Any other recommendations of what to fit please? I want small compact lamps and want them to look smart as well as work well. I like the look of the G4 Warn lights but they are stupidly expensive and not actually that good.

I had been speaking to Dunc about these last week ( thanks Dunc ).They are Bosch Compact 100's and are stocked by APB Trading.I think Christyler has these on his rack also.I phoned APB and mentioned Duncs name and they ofered a 10 % discount on their list price , ask for Heather.Link to the bosch website is in the post linked above.No images or prices on the APB site.I wrote the price down but Im afraid its back at the office,

With lights you really get what you pay for (unless its a Warn) I had on my expo original LR lights they served me well in Morocco 06 now on the front runner I have a few LF ones the difference is emence

any one any pic's of the LF 140's installed in/on the G4 Roof Rack ?
As Ken, I used the stardard LR D3 spots and although I'm sure I could get better quality lights considering I picked up the lot for £75 BNIB from fleabay I won't complain. Heres some pics from my gallery:

I might be tempted one day to change them, or at least one pair to something for better distance, like a pencil beam, but for now I'll stick with these.
Good luck LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I want to avoid them looking too big, what diameter are the LR units please? (To compare with the 140mm LF's)2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Stu thats the Expo Rack .. correct ? , Im ater the G4 rack with the cut outs .
how would the 140's fit in ?

The G4 is the expo rack, although the G4 rack has the fairing cut for the lights.
The LF140's would fit/look ok as they're about the same size as the Warn ones. If you buy a G4 rack do you get the brackets? If not you'd just need to get some knocked up.Disco 5 HSE Lux
