Looing to put roof bars on my D4 and am currently looking at Thule. Do you agree that they are suitable and if so which should i go for? I'm a bit confused by their range. Looking tocarry a large roofbox and 2 bikes. Whilst on the subject any views on the Thule bike carrier range? even more choice there!

Have you got the tracks running front to back on the car roof? If so then the Thule set will fit, I have a Thule set with the bike racks fitted all the time and two LR bars for any other occasions I need the roof bars. I cannot remeber off hand which thule foot pack I used but will have a look when I get home tonight to see if I still have the box. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Not sure about the D4's but not all the D3's had the tracks fitted to the car that accept the roof rail foot kit. If you look on the roof there should be two tracks that run front to back starting at the hump in the roof. These have a number of openings to take the feet bolt plates which come with the cross rails. Hope this helps. If not PM me a mobile number and I will send you a picture.
