The seats in models S and basic are a bit to be desired. I am having a battle with LR over them. Generally pretty pathetic. Look and feel as if they are out of a 1987 Ford Granada

Funny you should mention this... I have noticed a slight rocking in the base of the drivers seats which varies from noticeable to hardly noticeable depending on the height set.

As mine had its 1st 15K service today I mentioned it (as you would). They said all was fixed and secured firmly.

I guess its normal.

Not really that bad to notice 98% of the time.

Find the seat comfort fine. I do suffer from lower back pain if not sitting or sleeping comfortably and the DISCO3 has always left me feeling relaxed on exit - even after driving 300 miles.

Mind you... had a 1275 mini many many years ago that had a drivers seat that was only fixed on one side... great fun on tight corners or islands !!

PS. It feels sooo good to be sensible again Wink

Its that sensible moment I suppose, but it breaks the ice and gets us all going. Viva la sheep Sheep .

The seat is an issue I have and others have on the 'non' electric ones. I am getting somewhere with mine, but I don't think I will get a seat as good as the electric model at the end.

Agree the leather motorised seats are far more comfortable.
