Rocking seat

Hi evryone,

It's me again for the second time in one week... Big Cry
In my new Disco MY09 (March 2009 - 12.000 Km) when driving, there's a noticable movement in the seat (slight back and forth) when accelerating or braking.
My dealer told me that it was the first time he heard this from a Disco3. But he already knows 2 RRSport with this problem ; a plastic ring on an endless screw used for the seat would be the problem.
I found on the RRSport forum information but I didn't find anything post concerning it on this forum.
My dealer told me that LR was aware of that problem.
The Technical Bulletin #LTB00176 (05 Mar 2009) seems to explain the problem and the repair procedure.
He can change the faulty piece now but with the same (bad) quality.
If it's not too concerning for me it would be better to wait a few months till a definitive solution exists.
Did you experienced such a problem ?
Does anyone know anything about "rocking seat" ?
Cheers.

Oh yes! I have had a couple of fixes applied to my seat, and the rocking always returns. despair not, the tsb now has a solution, to 'pre load' one of the runners, which alleviates the movement, but does not affect operation.

Im not sure when or if new parts will be available though.

Moving seat.

I had my seat base replaced a few weeks ago after the movement became very obvious. No hassle, under warranty job (Car is July 2009) Dealer said that it is a known problem. Make the date 2008.
