I don't normally get involved in discussions with regard to the vvankers that run this country.
Thinking about it. They are increasing the RFL making it more expensive to drive on roads in the UK, however they are closing a lot of lanes. I just feel like saying it I pay enough wheres the bolt crops lets drive some lanes. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Anyone remember the song by Jilted John?
Join in when you've picked up the chorus...
"Gordon is a moron, Gordon is a moron, Gordon is a moron ..."
Sorry, a bit off topic that, don't know why it suddenly popped into my head... Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

I've been a bit busy over the past couple of days, and missed the fun. Just clarify a couple of points raised, My D3 is Nov 04, so is in group F, which (for me) is fantastic news! because it goes up by just a few quid.
However My wifes Sept 05 (55 reg) Mini Cooper S, is a petrol car and has been jacked up to the same group as a DIESEL? That puts it in the group F same as the D3 yes?

g, welcome back and welcome to Gordon's world
Apparently we have also voted along with the rest of the EU to open the sky to all comers carriers can fly anywhere they want as many times as they can... no additional CO2 will be produced as you've paid extra taxes on your Cooper

Makes no difference. The country voted for Labour and whoever is the leader of that party gets to be Prime Suspect.

8) for the flights, So, my Mini offsets 747's love it
I did the BBC calculator last night, and it makes me better off, but this car tax thing has some confusing twists in the detail.

Reading this thread, I've come to realise that the anti-Scottish Nationalist rhetoric is also the politics of envy
You guys are envious that we in 'North England' might just have a get-out clause
