NFU kicked it up from 450 last year, to 650 ish this year. I renewed with Sureterm for the same as NFU last year. The only difference was that I can't drive any other car. But as I have that on my other car, and strangely ( I think) on my motorbike insurance, not a problem.

It was blaimed on the new EU regs and general rate rises, but 50% was a bit too much.

£280 this year with Swiftcover. I 'm OK with that as it's pretty much the same as last year. Thumbs Up

Dangerdave - I have seen this happen before. Providing there are no changes to the policy, you may find in June that there is just a general % rate increase applied and at your level of premium it won't be very much extra.

If you make any changes you may promt a recalculation of the risk, which would probably be done on todays correct rate and would then be at the premiums you would have expected.

As these things are machine driven it may never get spotted - so avoid making any alterations to drivers, cover, address or anything else.

Good luck.

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

thats because the chance of it actually getting anywhere and therefore being a risk is pretty slim... Whistle

Just got back last nite to find insurance renewal from Aviva - been with them 3 years now

Went up from £450 last year and now quoting me £520

That is for limited 10K miles a year, SWMBO as main driver, 1 kid at 26 and 1 at 29 and me

Its up at the beginning of April and was just gonna accept it but looking at this thread think I will look around.

Did try NFU last year but because my boy works on a farm they wanted to put it up by some stupid amount - did not understand that logic
 D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR
