I’ve been thinking about buying an Oztent, while looking I’ve come across a fishing bivvy made by Ridge Monkey (the Escape XF2). It looks to be very similar but according to some reviews it’s heavier duty and better made. As well as being cheaper! Does anyone have any experience of this or do any of you guys fish and have possibly seen one?

I’ve done the tent thing, and sleep in the back of my LR3 (D3). For sleeping inside I use the backseat Bivy for added ease and comfort. But s as for tents, I prefer a cot tent. Your off the ground, always comfortable, stash boots some gear below and you could even sleep comfortably in muddy or wet ground conditions. I highly recommend it.
