ride height failure when far from home, get you home fixes

hi is it possible to wire up a ride height sensor with an adjustable potentiometer when one fails so you can get it home without it being on the bump stops, possibly using a repair plug and wires i have seen for sale. we green lane with three discovery threes and have had one ride height sensor failure that ruined the day, im not am elecrtician but i just feel this could be done somehow and carry it in the tool box. or are there any other fixes to get you home when the suspension gives up, Very Happy jeff=bones1. hemel hempstead

I imagine if you could fool it in to going up to normal height and pull the fuse for the controls and valve blocks it won't go back down.... not too sure but it may work!!
