Reversing lights not working
07 Disco 3 man.
Current problems
EPB amber lamp, Parking brake warning message
Delay on gear display numbers.
And “transmission fault” after about 10 min driving
No reversing lights
So there is a fault on XY sensor, clutch etc.
Have recalibrated XY sensor and all good for about 10 min driving, then displays E instead of gear numbers and will not clear by iid gap or recal XY sensor.
Then have no cruise control, Rev lights or parking sensors (even on manual switch)
After a CCF change for something else, gear number display goes back to original delay but as parking sensors work on man switch and cruise control works I have left it uncalibrated.
I can live with the bit of black tape covering the EPB amber lamp but not reversing lights.
So I am looking at spending a 3/4 of the cars value on clutch, flywheel, XY sensor.
Or fitting a small micro switch to operate on reverse under the gear stick shroud and this operating the Rev relay.
But can’t find that relay3 RR Classics (last one broke off-road) All gone

The relay is built into the back of the fusebox
I haven’t looked at a wiring diagram to see if you could intercept before the relay ?
But you could always use a new external relay and piggy back fuse to power the lights

looking at the diagram, the relay is driven off the can bus internally.
So you can't gain access to mess with it.

I'm presuming you've checked the bulbs?

Led clusters from D4 fitted, they worked ok for the 10 min before the transmission fault comes on

I have exactly the same issues, minus the transmission fault warning and my brake fault comes up as soon as I change out of first.
With mine, if I hold the gear lever towards the passengers seat when coming out of reverse, the reversing lights will work, along with the parking sensors. Not much use as the car is out of gear at this point and not actually going backwards! However, it does make me suspect the X-Y switch, as you would think if it was another fault the reversing lights wouldn't work at all.
I still haven't got round to checking the control module behind the battery. What voltage readings do you get in each gear with the IID tool? I am getting readings but I have no idea what they should be.

If you've got a current XY fault, the reversing lights won't work. Nor the auto park brake release.
edit. All your issues are related to the XY problem. Possibly caused by a slipping clutch.Richard

There is no sign of the clutch slipping on mine, even when towing 3.5 tonnes.

Obrigado. Eu tenho uma luz de freio traseira para fora no momento, então eu vou verificar as conexões. Seria uma boa solução fácil, se esse fosse o problema.
