Anyone got any suggestions or experience to suggest a way of upgrading the reversing lights so that they can actually be used to light the way when reversing in the pitchy dark?
They look bright enough if you stand behind the car, but the light doesn't seem to fall on the road or indeed anywhere useful...

Hi ad,
I think that you'll find that the reversing lights are a warning, rather than reverse headlights.
If that is true, you'll need to fit something like "work lights" to achieve your goal.

Install a pair off high power white LED's. Have some on mine as well and the rear view is prety good when dark.
Maybe you can find some here? http://www.hids4u.co.uk/led-stop-tail-bulbs/CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS
I think it's because somebody might just have limo tint glass in their rear windows...... I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
