Reversing light upgrades

My reversing lights are rubbish. Big Cry

Anyone got any suggestions or experience to suggest a way of upgrading the reversing lights so that they can actually be used to light the way when reversing in the pitchy dark?

They look bright enough if you stand behind the car, but the light doesn't seem to fall on the road or indeed anywhere useful...

Ideas welcome.

Thanks

Hi ad,
I think that you'll find that the reversing lights are a warning, rather than reverse headlights.

If that is true, you'll need to fit something like "work lights" to achieve your goal.

Best Wishes,

Install a pair off high power white LED's. Have some on mine as well and the rear view is prety good when dark.
Maybe you can find some here? http://www.hids4u.co.uk/led-stop-tail-bulbs/

Funny you should say that - I find the D3 reverse lamps to be very good, far more so than on most cars.

If they're no lighting much up (particularly when looking through the door mirrors), then you're not very close to anything ...

Mick

I think it's because somebody might just have limo tint glass in their rear windows...... Whistle
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Yeah I do. But not in the door mirrors. I'll try the hids4u lights first.
