Reversing camera improvments
I’m going to retro fit the rear reversing camera to my my16 we tech, ive read all the posts re fitting. That’s no problem. Some of you guys have mentioned improvements to the camera (bendy lines, zoom , better quality image etc) from my14. Are these improvements software based or is there a part number for the better camera? Cheers

Well as I’ve had no reply’s I’ve gone and worked it out myself!
Found a handle, camera, and tailgate wiring from a my14. This one has the fakra and little black socket that connects to the wiring in the headlining, interestingly this one has 4 wires from the tail gate, 2 power and a can bus pair. I presume this helps getting the bendy lines. The camera also has 6 connections, 2 of which join together to make the fakra feed, 2 power and a can bus pair. The little black plug in the headlining also has the matching 4 wires already there on the car. I think at some time the camera was upgraded to the 6 pin model. This is called the fixed camera. Not to be confused with the surround camera that has a round plug, this one has a long plug

Any one around east Kent to activate the camera and park heat?

Can anyone advise what I need to change to activate rear camera , bendy lines hitch display etc?

If I remember correct, it’s in CCF and quite a long way down the listing is something like (camera park assist) change from not fitted to enable, should be job done. 2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.

Rse, tv, electric memory seats, rear camera, heated steering wheel,
Headlight dip assist, remote FBH, led door light pack,easy lift kit,osram front fog/drl/active cornering lights. and whatever els I can find to do,
