Reversing camera image upside down
Hello all
about 9 months or so ago I fitted a reversing camera and did the wire snip FFRR mod. All has been working just fine since then but for the last few days the image has occasionally flipped upside down, but next time I use it (ie having switched the car off and let it sleep) then the image is correct again. The green and yellow guide lines remain on the bottom of the screen in the usual place.
Anybody any ideas?
I guess the first thing to try will be to buy another camera - any suggestions from the group?
many thanks

Will it work if you plug it in the other way up? 😜

It’ll be the camera.
Some cameras have a wire that can be snipped for reverse image or inverted image.Bodsys Brake Bible

Narpy - no, it must have been at least four or five weeks since I did that
Bodsy, thanks. No additional wire on mine but I'll get another and swap out
Does anybody know if a camera that will show the tow hitch without having to go into the setup menu?

I’ve been looking at similar.
I’ve tried a couple of cheap eBay specials but the viewing angle is not wide (or more important high) enough.
I also need something with towbar zoom, I note that Kenwood have an offering with multiple views, I’m willing to try it out as the only real need on the D3 for a reverse camera is to hook up the trailer.

I use mine for hitching up by going in to the screen test menu and changing the resolution. Bit of a pain but not really too much trouble

you could fit a 2nd camera for the towbar
I think this is what others have done.
And either access it via a GVIF or though the test page. or fit your own switch
