Reverse Alarm Sounder Volume

Hi, new to the forum so excuse me if this subject is already listed and Ive not seen it. I have a Disco3 commercial XS. I find when Im reversing unless the radio is very low I have problems hearing the beep beep from the reversing aid. Yes Im maybe a bit corn beef but its annoying whenever you reverse having to turn the radio down. I tend to rely on the alarm more than normal with it being a commercial and rear windows are blanked out. Any ideas where the sounder is so I can fit something with a bit more volume. According to the local LR dealer theres no way of increasing the volume as it doesnt play through the speakers like the freelander.
Any ideas???
Cheers

the sounder is located in the N/S rear behind the plastic trim.... very simple job to extend the wires and move the buzzer closer to the front of the vehicle.... ie behind the interior light panel etc,

ive done a few for a local LR dealer..its a common problem!

Thanks for that. Is it behind the lift off cover where the tow ball stows or do I need to dismantle the other panels? Other thing I had thought of doing if easier was to mute the radio when reversing. Cant understand why they didnt do same as the freelander and mute radio in reverse.
Cheers

need to remove the panel m8,

beware of routing any cables near any pillar mounted airbags m8, if you need to then make sure they are behind the bag...

any decent car audio centre should be able to do the work if your not happy to... likely to be about and hour & half labour (£60 ish)

easy enough job, might be a pain to get that panel out because of the commercials floor....

hope that helps
