Hi All
Getting my new car tomorrow. I regrettet not ordering the towbar, sooo...
If i get the removable towbar and wiring kit off ebay- will this work or do i need something extra ?

It'll work, but you need to visit your dealer so that he can 'tell' the car that it has a tow bar and therefore amend suspension and rear PDC behaviour when towing. Expect to be paying for the privilege, unless the dealer owes you a small favour.  Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

The parking sensors work fine when a tow bar is used, as when something is plugged into the electrics, it knows the trailer is there and disables the reversing sensors.
I fitted my own bar & electrics and it all works fine. From what I understand the software upgrade only relates to the off-road suspension heights when towing a trailer. Therefore, unless you're planing to tow a trailer off-road with the suspension on highest mode, then you don't need to rush down to the dealer to get them to upgrade the software. Matt
