I do have an 2011 D4 SE Spec with Xenon Headlamps without cornering lights. IID Tool is in the glove box as well.
Can i swap them to the adaptive headlamps without additional hardware than LR023539 (RH for example) and just activate it through the IID?

No, you need the AFS module and possibly additional wiring. Bodsys Brake Bible

Oh no....
I am not keen on the adaptive light, more the cornering light but i guess i will need the module as well then.
