Retrimming steering wheel
Has anyone had their steering wheel retrimmed? I once had my Clio 182 wheel retrimmed by a "talented amateur" and the results were brilliant! I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience here?

Re-trimming a steering wheel
Here is my write-up from when I had mine done in 2016.
My 06 Disco 3 recently suffered the sticky steering wheel syndrome and, despite multiple efforts to clean it, continued to leave my hands stickier than a stick insect after the shortest trip. On advice from fellow member ronp, who steered me (!) in the right direction, I got a refurbished wheel from Royal Steering Wheels in Aylesbury. Jack charged £120 for the wheel, and £15 to fit it in about 20 minutes flat. I could have had a go myself, but the cost of buying the tool for one use seemed unnecessary and, as they say, if you want a job done quickly, ask a busy man. I am chuffed with the job that Jack did, and can strongly recommend him if you are thinking of swapping your wheel.
Not sure what the current price is, but my wheel is still in great condition after 6 years.

I’ve had my BMW steering wheel done by Royal, excellent workmanship and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.Steve
