Just got home after a nightmare journey to be told by SWMBO that the disco went into Restricted Performance mode and would only do 30mph
She stopped at a friends for half an hour and all seemed ok so drove into town when she parked she could smell rubber. When I asked questions was told this smelling of rubber is not new - wtf , stupid  tells me this at 10pm a day before Christmas and our year end so no chance of a day off until January
Car under warranty so not worried about that side just inconvenience of getting it to dealer D4 HSE - Aintree Green

Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

Resurrecting an old thread but was this ever resolved? Very occasional but I think we may have the same issue?
