Replacing wing mirror glass
Guys
I need to replace the glass, I'm looking at the round thing with a few blobs on but I can not work out how to get the glass to clip on? I'm worried I'll break it.
Any special ways to do it?

I've never got the search to work properly, and maybe I now know why. I'd already spent half and hour going through 100s of posts looking for it!

Click on the "Show keyword help" link next to the search box and you get this:
Use word1 word2 to find all posts which contain either word1 or word2.
Use +word1 +word2 to find all posts which include both word1 and word2.
Use +word1 +word2 -word3 to find all posts which include both word1 and word2, but not word3.
Use "word1 word2" (with the double-quotes) to search for an exact phrase.
Hopefully no more need to trawl through endless posts for hours.
Look at the plastic 'clips' on the back of the mirror glass, and you'll see the top has to latch onto the round motor assembly in the mirror housing first, then the bottom clip should click into place as you gently push the glass into the housing. Make sure the glass is level when you puch it in, and it might take a few goes but you'll get there in the end.Previously:
