Replacing rear leather seat cover |
|
Hi, discovered a slit in leather seat base of NSR seat base...before I order a new one, can anyone advise if it's straightforward to fit? Seems to be a case of removing various pieces of trim, unclip old one and put new one on. Any advice gratefully received, especially if it's better to get a dealer to do it.
Thanks
Nick

Hi,
if you pm me your email I'll forward the LR instructions which Wiggs very kindly sent me - I've not tried them out yet though so don't have experience of the job

Hi Nick,
I need to replace exactly the same seat base cover, too (mine has a tear down the fake leather piece that faces the door panel). Any idea how much LR charge for supply only? DGRR

Got a price from Nick at Yeovil, about £175 . Maybe he'll do us a deal if we order two

now I have thought about it a bit more, replacing old with new could bring its own problems: won't a new cover stick out like a sore thumb, next to the other two rear seats (which, in my case, are now into their 3rd year)? DGRR
