Lift the tabs at the top of the light unit on both sides till the holes line up below the tab, headlight pulls easily out from there Thumbs Up

I take out the front grill too - I find a claw hammer pulls the one tab up easier than anything else.

I find putting a cloth/towel on the bumper helps protect the bumper from scratches until you get used to removing & putting back in the lights.

hi guys
i bought a pair of xenons to replace the u/s bulb, got them off ebay for £6.50 inc free white sidelight bulbs,
as you all said it was easy,i did also take out the grill so i could see the holes line up and put a towel under the lamp body so as not to scratch the bumper.
thanks again
sandy.

If they are real xenon's, then they are not legal!

But I'm guessing at that price, that they are the xenon filled Halogens. Thumbs Up

Hi - just thought I'd add a quick note to say you can actually replace the main headlight bulb (not sure you'd get to the other bulbs) without removing the front grill and headlamp unit. I found someone with small hands (!!) who simply unscrewed the part that holds the bulb in place (it's an off-white/grey plastic piece on the rear of the unit) and accessed the bulb easily.

Am sure I'll now get told that I shouldn't have done it that way - but as one who is not technically-minded, I wasn't looking forward to taking any more bits off my car myself - having fitted the removable towbar the weekend before and breaking one of the clips that holds the removable bumper cover within 5 seconds of turning it!

Laughing He's really into cars.... and Land Rovers especially which means he is destined to pay through the nose for a car that will let him down, cost a fortune when it does and trigger much shaking of heads amongst his peers - coupled with the most enjoyable ownership and driving experience there is. As I said to him when the EPB failed a couple of weeks ago, locking on and making him miss football - "why am I not surprised"... his reply??

"But they are still cool cars dad........"

He's not wrong.
