Replacement battery thoughts |

Looks like the battery on the RRS is on the way out.
Any recomendations on replacement.
Have had quick look and wondered if the FFRR battery would fit giving a higher cold crank and output.
any thoughts on these 2 batteries.

Sorry...just couldn't resist... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Sounds like an expensive option to me
But if someone wants to swap my battery for D4 then would give it consideration D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Just make sure it can withstand the higher charge voltage - up to 15.5VDC, any lead-calcium battery with the correct Ah / CCA capacity will be fine

Any idea what standard AH/CCA are and would it be benefical at all to get a higher ratings on these

OEM is 90Ah, i'll need to check the CCA (i.e. can't remember )

Rating is 825 Amps, not sure if that's CA or CCA - seems a bit high for CCA.... but that may be due to being a PbCa battery
