Removing the air vent
How easy is it to remove the air vent? I've been on GTR and the only mention I can see is in the instructions for the Snorkel - they suggest you just pull it out - are there some lugs that need to be prised open first?Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Why do you want to remove your air intake Steve? you have not gone and bought a bling version have you
I remove my air intake grill after washing so I can stop annoying dribbles.
All you have to do is hold the central bar, lift gently upwards (but with a bit lift), and pull the bottom of the vent towards you.
It's pretty easy.
Good Luck!
I recently asked the same question. I did what you said but there was no movement at all.
Could somebody describe what the LR procedure is?TDV6 SE auto, Java / Alpacca
