How to remove trans sump

My car is at the mechanics flushing the transmission and changing the
transmission filter.
He cant get the sump out between the tranny and the crossmember.
Does anyone know how its done.
Hes been at it for 5 hours......help before im broke Big Cry

Norto, I did mine a month or two ago, the LH side engine mount has to be loosened and the engine jacked up on that side to as far as you can, even then it is a bit of a fiddle.

If anyone is getting this done it would pay to print
out the link from Wiggs and give it to their mechanic.
I pick the car up at 9AM so ill let you know the full cost

The auto trans guy said that the oil was ok and that the filter was clean and not
to change it next time. very good considering what it has been through.
The costs are as follows
sump (which has built in filter) $170
oil $125
labour (included fitting fuel filter, $360
could have been a lot more)
