A lot of "concentrates" already have water in and have an undiluted rating so it is debatable that they are really a concentrate.

Asda "all season" concentrate is only good down to -5 deg neat, dubious product description as I see it..
A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Thanks for the further detail on testing the pumps. Brilliant photo too. Will try some heat and then try to get in there. Have warned the dog!

It takes a long time to warm the resevoir as it is not in the best of places . Mine started working in Norfolk yesterday morning it still wasnt that warm then but it also had plenty of antifreeze in it . It should have been ok down to -10c .

Thanks. I ran a hose over the reservoir and also heated a litre of fluid in the microwave and then drove around so it was definitely defrosted. No change. Have not been able to dismantle it as I have been on standby for a long trip but hope to be able to get to it tomorrow. Very odd that both have stopped working at the same time though…..

Hi

Yes it is holding fluid. I removed both of the pumps to test with a 12v battery on the bench. The right-hand one - with the two tubes - runs, but the left-hand pump shorts and does not run. Have got a pump coming but not sure I have found the problem....

I refitted the pumps but left the left-hand one unplugged. Tried the washers and nothing. Seems as though power is not getting down? Checked both fuses and they are fine.

Any ideas?

Pump replaced and fuses checked but neither pump working. Could it be a relay problem?
