Removable Towball Stowage
Hi,
Decided to store the removable towball in the cubby hole on the N/S of my S (7 seat layout)
Opened it up only to find and empty void with no securing straps etc.
If I put it in there, it is going to possibly damage the inside of the body panels when it starts rattling around.
Should there be some restarint or cushioning?
Cheers.
Griff.

Storage for the removable tow bar is an optional extra. I think they cost about £40-£50, but from what I've heard on this site, they are a to fit and a bit pointless.
I'd wrap it in some cloth to stop it rattling. If you browse a few posts, some of the guys on the forum store pretty much everything including the kitchen sink without too many problems.

I think you can buy an insert to go in that space to keep it secured. or get a large lump of polystyrene and a sharp knife and make your own 2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver

I fitted the proper storage unit. It's not worth it really. Just use a load of cloths or cardboard to stop it rattling in there. With the storage unit in place, it is actually very difficult to get it in and out.Matt
