Remote fbh won't work
All.
Have done lots of searching on this subject.
Fitted a remote fbh a few months ago - using the correct module (t91?) and sourcing the correct remote control at huge expense.
Couldn't test it at the time as ambient temp was always above six degrees.
The car is a GS spec so has the small screen.
Can anyone definitively tell me what settings I needed to change in the CCF, and how I can test/know that its all paired and working?
It wouldn't start up remotely yesterday (first time of trying) and I know the d4's battery was in a good state. You do hear the classic fbh 'sound' and hear its fuel pump clicking when yiu do a cold start bte.
Thanks

Hi,
can not help with the settings but thinking back to our RRS that had a remote you did NOT have to wait for it to be below 6 to work that was the point of the remote, you could fire it up when ever you wanted to.
or so I remember and used the remote many times rather than timed

Interesting. On our ffrr I fitted the LR remote system and it would only work at less than 6 degrees.

I may be wrong but I thought the remote will only work if timed climate is enabled in the CCF ,something you may not be able to do on a GS as it doesnt have a screen compatible with the timed climate. Agree the remote should work above 6 .

Worth getting the codes read, it may simply need faults clearing as it has locked out this should then enable restarting the FBH with the remote.Must stop buying shiny toys....
