Yeah I have one

But I then bought one of these

The D3 is ok for young kids, but it doesn't go off road, but is quite fast for a child

You can use the gear off the Torag to build one like this

I have most the bits but not sure I have the skill!

Hmm realistic? The Tamiya XC chassis to me are the best, realistic and pretty fast. IMO the ready made cars are not worth it, they break too easily, whereas the kits are easily mended.

Harrison,
IMHO...
I'd strongly recommend trying before you buy. I'm really disappointed with the quality. Typical Chinese brittle plastics, and very poor turning circle. Performance seriously stunted by colossal weight of the model.

You're welcome to buy mine, only used for about 1/2hr ... but I wouldn't recommend it.
Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
