remap 210 BHP

Have a Disco 4 210 BHP with dof.

How can it be remapped?

Will I get 245 BHP or is it possible to get like remapped 245BHP (280 BHP)

Could it be done by the driver like Disco3 or is it necessary to have it done by a workshop directly in the ECU?
Can I switch back to original by myself for service and MOT?

What about a box alternative?

When I've spoken to a major tuner about the D4 I was told that it's a vehicle that needs to ECU to be physically opened to allow for tuning to be carried out, so there was no prospect of making it "switchable".

Is it 2.7 or 3.0?- if 2.7 shouldn't be a problem through diagnostic port.

It will when others won't,

I have one of these http://www.dieselkraft.se/Produkt/Land+Rover/Discovery/9494/ lying around that I got with my D4 when I bought it. I do not have it fitted and it will be yours for 1000 SEK. Should bring you to 250 hk but is a plug in box.

Not true it can be done down the OBD port, just some tuners won't invest in the new kit to do it.

Thank you Peter,
I will pick up the car in Gothenburg in a couple of weeks. It has some problems with the engine that does not work. My macedonian mechanic will take it on and fix it.
it is a discovery 4 HSE, 3.0 l, 210 BHP and has just 125 000 kms on the clock. Two owners. Got it at a vet reasonable price.
I am now gathering info about what I can do to pimp it. Like my Disco 3 G4.
Before summer I changed the TC on the Disco 3 and it is a new car. Have to fix some small details and then it has to go. Have all original G4 styling and loads of things lying around to install on it. A unique car.

Only some D4s can be done via OBD, not all...

The later D4 are OBD. Definitely 16MY, possibly 15MY...

16 rings a bell, as it's the same time Adblue was fitted

Please explain more.
Pete Bell says that he need the ECU.
As I am in Sweden I need a set up yhat can be changed back to original by myself. To be safe when having it MOT tested.

Tell me if there is a way for me to go.
