Glad you said that as most Discos tend to end up being n the order of your photos without any outside help!
Top job though, what bits have you replaced whilst the body’s been off?I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Looking like it'll be like a new motor when you've finished.
Great job so far. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Have you got space for another one ? I'm quite sure there would be a queue !
Did you not think about getting the chassis galvanised whilst it was stripped?I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Thanks Dan, she is a working vehicle for crofting, but I guess it’s a love/ hobby to keep the vehicle going
The cost of out right replacement would be 15000 for another vehicle so to spend a couple of thousand now in presavtion, hopefully get a good few years yet.
Your road tax is crazy, mine being a commercial is £270, is sad that they have banned I very efficient vehicle from so many places

@J428 TGS. So you are a smallscale farmer [ I had to look up what crofting entails ], and now is a period in which you have less work from the farming.
I am really amazed that one can survive with such a classic small scale type farming with all the monster-sized overscaled agri-powerhouses about, globally..
Respect !
