They have been looking at it on RRSporty and now are looking into a group buy of the 2T,
RRS Review Thread and getting good results
Original Freel2 thread (where all the details are)
As long as you use the correct 2T rating you should have results
Group Buy Thread
Recommend you have a read of the Freel2 thread for info if your planning on looking at it
The way i look at it is 2T didn't seem to do anything for me, (maybe quieter), but atleast redex say you can add it to the fuel on the bottle

Hi All
All the REDEX fuel treatment bottles that I have seen state that the product is used for PETROL engines. There is no mention of the suitability for diesel engines

you need to look for a bottle like this I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Thanks SJR - I thought I missing something
I will hunt around my local auto parts store and pay more attention to the labels D3 2005 HSE V8 model, snorkel, nudge bar, uprated tow hitch (12T), Goodyear Wrangler MTR (MT) tyres, National Luna battery box, Outback roof-rack, Takla seat covers.

Admittedly on older (classic) cars, and (admittedly) those that run on petrol, we use ATF in the fuel on occasion to keep things clear - just a few hundred ml in the tank on the way to fill it up. ATF is an amazing cleaner-out of crap in engines. Again, putting it into engine oil (on older petrol driven engines) and driving it for a few miles before an oil change makes an incredible difference to the state of the engine and gets rid of carbon desposits etc. Had the head off a '68 MB last week that had the treatment and the rockers, cam and even inside the rocker cover was extremely clean.
Not sure if you could do the same thing with diesels. I assume it would have a similar effect although not sure how sensitive the engine oil would be to having some ATF put in it. I think it would be fine in the diesel to keep things clean, or it could react badly and cause a complete core melt down.
Someone else has mentioned putting 2 stroke oil in; again an old method used to help lubricate cars that have things like mechanical fuel injection systems that seems to work.
BG44K (when you can find/afford it) seems far more effective than Redex in petrol engines and make a considerable difference to fuel injectors. But it is vastly expensive. I think the version for diesels is called 244. Probably costs and arm and let, too. PAGODA

W I E R D... i was in morrisons 5 days ago and for some reason i cannot explain i bought a bottle, £3 ish or just under,
filled up on the way out, i was on vapors, the engine "feels" a little livelier, and response seems better. am in a manual.
economy is showing at 23mpg though only got 1/4 tank left
BUT this has been on local driving, no long runs yet..
no smoke coming out the back either.. one wife.......livid

I am certain my achievement of a 140 mile round trip with redex treatment enabled me to average 41 MPG on the trip, as well as sensible driving with economy in mind. Mines a TDV6 manual.

I'm pretty impressed with what REDEX did for my D3. I've been getting about 24-25 mpg in town and 27-28 mpg on the motorway before REDEX. Decided to give it a try and I am mightily impressed because now the trip computer is showing 27-28 mpg in town and 30-31 mpg on the motorway!
Be it the trip computer being inaccurate, but an increase is still an increase!

Im a fan of the 2 Stroke oil
Used it in my own car. Always thought it was a bit smokey, and eventually tried it. There was a proper cloud of black smoke when booting it. After a few tanks, it cleared right up, with no smoke visible at all...
Then I found out it had been chipped previously, which explained why it was so smokey originally. Big fan My D3 Build Thread
